Mardell “Marty” M Phillips, age 86, of Wild Rose, Wisconsin, passed away Friday evening Nov 19th, 2021, at Theda Care Medical Center in Wild Rose, Wisconsin.

Marty was born August 30th, 1935, in Neenah, the daughter of Clarence and Mildred (Haus) Bentle.  She attended school at Appleton West HS.  She was employed as a hospitality hostess most of her adult life.  She was a member of St John’s Lutheran Church in Saxeville, the Moose Lodge and Wild Rose Lion’s Club.

She is survived by six children, Nona Collar, Rusty (Linda) Kimball, Toni (Jay) Post, Todd Kimball, Robin Kimball, and Jamie Kimball.  Marty had 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by three half-brothers, one half-sister, their spouses and families.  Along with many nieces and nephews.  She was preceeded in death by her parents, grandparents, a daughter, a sister, two brothers and a nephew.

Marty will always be remembered as a woman of strong faith, her love for country music, a true Packer fan, a volunteer, cooking, baking and decorating the house for the holidays. Not to mention an immaculate home and lawn.  She enjoyed camping at Oakwood Campgrounds so much she made it her permanent residence. She was successful with her wish to pass away living in her own home.

Funeral Services are being handled by Leikness Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday Dec 2nd, at St John’s Lutheran church in Saxeville, with Pastor Rick Engen officiating.
