Lorraine Rita Doucette (nee Hartman), age 81 of Inverness, Florida, passed away Monday morning, January 15, 2024 at ThedaCare Medical Center in Appleton.
She had been visiting her daughter Lorrie Phelps in Redgranite. “Rita” was born August 12, 1942 in Presque Isle, Vilas County, Wisconsin, one of ten children born to Roy and Doris (Collins) Hartman. She had been employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and had also worked at Marks Brothers Pickle Co. in Spring Lake, Lennox Candle Co, in Oshkosh, and at the Berlin Foundry in the Core Room.
Rita is survived by her daughter, Lorrie (Mark) Phelps of rural Redgranite and her son, Mark Doucette of Inverness, Florida; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Roderick Joseph Doucette.
Memorial Services and a Celebration of Rita’s life will be held at a later date.
