John Parrish, age 80, of Wautoma passed away on
November 26, 2023 at the Omro Care Center. His
wife, Janice (Jan) Parrish was at his side.
He was born on January 22, 1943 in Bells, Tennessee to John Griffith and Daisy Marie (Burns) Parrish. The family moved to southern Missouri, then to Illinois, and John eventually moved to Wisconsin. John served as the administrator for Nova House group home in Wautoma for 24 years. He enjoyed reading, computers, flying, and traveling.
John is survived by his wife of 47 years Janice (Mike) Parrish, one sister Maxine O'Callaghan, one daughter Patricia (Shawn) Durham, three grand‐ children Jeffrey (Jessica), Christina, and Tricia (Brad) and four great-grandchildren Genevieve, Abigail, Jeffrey, and Lainie, and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Charles, two sisters Deborah and Peggy (Bob) Pearson, one daughter Dawn Ciro, and one grandson Richard.
No service was held per John's wishes.
