In his retirement, Gary enjoyed playing sheepshead, cribbage, and poker weekly with his Neshkoro buddies. He liked to entertain family and friends at his beautiful lake home and could often be found behind the grill or giving boat rides on his pontoon.  He was an avid sports fan, always cheering for all the Wisconsin teams.
