DAVID MONNIER

David M. Monnier, age 76, of Almond, WI, passed away peacefully under hospice care with his wife by his side on Friday, September 8, 2023 at his home. He was born March 26, 1947 in Ladysmith, WI; son of Roy and Pearl (Flippo) Monnier. On July 4, 1976 Dave married Pamela Ash in Berryville, AR and together they raised three sons. Dave was an auto mechanic and he owned and operated a salvage yard on his property for close to 45 years, teaching his sons the trade, too, through the years. He will be dearly missed by all of his loving family and friends. Dave is survived by his wife of 47 years Pamela Monnier of Almond; two sons Jason (Lindsey) Koehler of Hudson, FL and Chad Monnier of Hudson, FL; two grandsons Caleb Koehler and Benjamin Clark; four siblings Thomas Monnier of Milwaukee, Carla Monnier of Harrison, AR, Steven Monnier of Harrison, AR, and Julie Monnier of Milwaukee; two sis ters-in-law Cindi (Jim) Bruening of Hales Corners and Kati Westerman of Plymouth; and also by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Pearl Monnier, and a son Cody Monnier. A Graveside Service for Dave will be on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Greenvale (Dopp) Cemetery, located 5 miles north of Wild Rose, WI on State Road 22.
