Adeline (Midge) E. Shultz, 96, Timber Pines, Spring Hill, FL, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at HPH Hospice Care Center, Brooksville, FL.

Adeline was born on Aug. 4, 1918, in Ypsilanti, ND, to Otto Roeske and Albertena Pomplum. 

She graduated from Wautoma High School, Wautoma Normal School & Wisconsin State University at Stevens Point. She taught in a one room schoolhouse in Wisconsin, worked in the American Consulate in Brazil during World War II and was a world traveler. She was an avid, accomplished artist, recreational golfer and bridge player, and supported her community as president of the PTA, leader of Girl Scouts, and church librarian in Chattanooga, TN.

Adeline is survived by her daughters: Cherryl (Bob) Pritts, Judith (G.W.) Voiers, Tica (Mike) Hayes; two sisters; seven grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband: Eugene J. Shultz; and her parents.

Family will hold a service at a later date in Wisconsin.

Memorials may be made to HPH Hospice or Salvation Army. The Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill, FL, is assisting the family with arrangements.
