The Wautoma Hornet softball team won their season opener 15-2 over the visiting Princeton/Green Lake Tigersharks on March 22.

Wautoma tallied four runs in the bottom of the first inning coming from an Alyssa Borchardt walk, Avery Lehr RBI double, Kaisee Conger single with both scoring on wild pitches, a MacKenzie Ralls walk and a Maddie Peterman sacrifice fly.

Princeton/Green Lake responded by putting up two of their own with a Jackie single and Emerald RBI double and scoring on a wild pitch.
