Wautoma boys take 3rd place at Oshkosh Indoor Meet

The Wautoma boys track team finished in third place recording 34 points at the 25-invitational indoor track meet on March 15 at the Kolf Sports Center at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. 

Freedom took home first place with 67.5 points, followed by Berlin with 53 points. Coming in behind Wautoma were: Two Rivers, 30; Kewaunee, 30; Luxemburg-Casco, 30; Fox Valley Lutheran, 30; New London, 27; Little Chute, 26; Peshtigo, 25; Catholic Memorial, 18; Omro, 16; Kiel, 16; Denmark, 16; Brillon, 16; Sheboygan Falls, 15; Kewaskum, 13; Chilton, 9; Campbellsport, 9; New Holstein, 9; Oconto, 5; Lake Country Lutheran, 5; Southern Door, 4; Seymour, 3.5; and Oconto Falls, 1. 

Taking 1st place in their events for Wautoma were: Max Bennett, 60 Meter Dash, recording a time of 7.00; the 4x200 Meter Relay Team with a time of 1:37.55; and Ryan Lois for his 40-11.00 triple jump. Rounding out the top five for the Hornets was Matt Maciaga with a 19-03.00 long jump.

• 60 Meter Dash: 1, Max Bennett, Wautoma 7.00.

• 400 Meters: 21, Matthew Kroll, Wautoma, 58.17; 24, Austin Miller, Wautoma, 58.70.

• 1600 Meters: 14, Kordell Woyak, Wautoma, 5:03.84; Creedon Abraham, Wautoma, 5:05.58. 

• 4x200 Meter Relay: 1, Wautoma, 1:37.55.

• Shot Put: 30, Dante Borland, Wautoma, 36-07.50; 40, Jared Meek, Wautoma, 32-05.00.

• Long Jump: 5, Matt Maciaga, Wautoma, 19-03.00; 16, Max Bennett, Wautoma, 17-10.00.

• Triple Jump: 1, Ryan Lois, Wautoma, 40-11.00; 11, Cade Peterson, Wautoma, 38-00.25.
