Wild Rose Community Health and Wellness Fair set for Aug. 19

ThedaCare Medical Centers-Berlin and Wild Rose, in partnership with the Wild Rose Lions Club, is pleased to announce a Wild Rose Community Health and Wellness Fair. This event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Lions building and grounds, 1100 Main St., Wild Rose, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. This is a free, family friendly event for residents living in Waushara County. Door prizes, gift cards from local businesses, giveaways, and “mostly healthy” snacks will be offered throughout the day. There will also be grab bags available for those who attend, and special items for children. As a comprehensive health care system, ThedaCare is dedicated to individualized care, where care providers work to understand unique medical backgrounds, risks, lifestyle, personal values and goals, to help each person get back to living their best life, sooner. Through their extensive network of primary and specialty care providers, ThedaCare is available to provide exceptional care, close to home. Vendors at the Wellness Fair include independent providers in the area, health care professionals from ThedaCare and representatives from Wild Rose Lions International Initiatives. Waushara County EMS, Drone, Incident Command, and safety staff will be on site. ThedaStar is also scheduled to attend. The Wild Rose Fire Department will also be participating. There will be tables set up for participants to stop by and speak with health care experts, police, fire and emergency medical responders. Interactive exhibits include: •Heart, stroke and trauma care •ThedaCare Rural Health Initiative •First aid and hands-only CPR •Dental and vision screenings •Nutrition •Chiropractic care •Bike helmet safety •Foot care •ADRC Services All community members are invited to join ThedaCare and the Lions Club for the Wild Rose Community Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, Aug. 19.
