Waushara County accident report

The Waushara County accident reports recorded from the Waushara County Sheriff's Office:

• 12/8/17: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 9:20 p.m. on County Road W, Town of Saxeville. A Waushara County deputy responded to a single vehicle roll over accident reporting person was on scene but did not witness the accident. The deputy arrived and was unable to locate the operator, Aaron Bruce, 25, Westfield. Bruce admitted to driving and swerving for a deer in the roadway when he lost control causing the vehicle to overturn onto the passenger side. The vehicle remained on its side and continued to skid until it came to a rest in the lane of travel. Bruce and the passenger exited the vehicle and fled from the scene. Five citations were issued. Possible injuries were reported.

• 12/9/17: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 4:10 a.m. on State Highway 73, Town of Oasis. Robert Freberg, 24, Nekoosa, was traveling on State Highway 73 when he left the snow-covered roadway, entered the ditch and struck a rock disabling the vehicle. No injuries were reported. 

• 12/11/17: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 5:20 a.m. on County Road MM, Town of Wautoma. James Humikowski, 76, Wautoma, was traveling eastbound on County Road MM when he went off the road into a ditch and rolled twice coming to a rest on its wheels in a yard. Suspected minor injuries were reported. 

• 12/11/17: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 7:58 a.m. on 15th Drive, Town of Wautoma. Irene Kenney, 29, Wild Rose, was traveling southbound on 15th Drive on snow-covered roads. While negotiating a curve the driver lost control and crossed the centerline. The vehicle spun 180 degrees, entered the left shoulder and rolled over, coming to a rest outside the left shoulder. One citation was issued. No injuries were reported.

• 12/11/17: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 11:49 a.m. on 17th Drive, Town of Dakota. Malachi Marks, 19, Wild Rose, stated he was testing out the road conditions when his car broke free and before he could regain control he rolled into the ditch and struck the fence in the east ditch. Marks was traveling north when he lost control causing the car to enter the east ditch and roll. No injuries were reported. 

• 12/13/17: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 1:34 a.m. on Chicago Road, Town of Dakota. Chloe Botticelli, 20, Wautoma, was traveling eastbound on Chicago Road when she lost control of her vehicle on the snow-covered roadway. The vehicle entered the right ditch and struck a utility pole and yard ornaments coming to a rest in the south ditch. One citation was issued. No injuries were reported. 

• 12/13/17: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 6:20 a.m. on State Road 21, Town of Marion. Aleia Hansen, 29, Redgranite, was traveling westbound on State Road 21 when she lost control of her vehicle on the snow-covered road, entered the north ditch, struck a traffic sign post for County Road Z, and snapped off the post. Hansen then drove the vehicle out of the ditch and parked on County Road Z. Suspected minor injuries were reported. 

• 12/14/17: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 7:40 a.m. on Beechnut Drive, Town of Wautoma. Jordan Reilly, 17, Wautoma, was traveling southbound on 15th Drive when his vehicle slid on the snow-covered road, struck a guardrail and went down an embankment. No injuries were reported. 

• 12/14/17: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 8:55 a.m. on State Highway 21, Town of Marion. Abigail Langlois, 21, Wautoma, was traveling eastbound on State Highway 21 when the driver attempted to stop for a turning vehicle, lost control on the snow-covered road and slid off the road striking a utility pole. No injuries were reported.
