The Waushara County Watershed Lakes Council, Inc. will hold their Summer meeting on Saturday, Aug. 12th at 9 a.m. in the Lower Level Demonstration room at the Waushara County Courthouse. The only courthouse entrance open will be the south handicapped accessible entrance. This meeting is open to the public and refreshments will be served.
The guest speakers for this meeting will be Deputy Jacob Hansen, Recreation Deputy, Waushara County. He will discuss water safety.
Additional agenda items for this meeting are as follows:
•Up-Date on Welcome Packet Grant
•Up-Date on Environmental Grant award
•Information & possible action on Land Conservation requests;
•Information & possible action on local AIS Grant programs;
•Election of Board members – Two 3 year positions
The Board of Directors will be meeting following the regular meeting.
Members of the Council are encouraged to attend this meeting.

The WCWLC Board members feel that the best meeting experience is when all of us can attend in person because of the discussions and interactions that take place before and after the meeting on an informal basis. However, they realize that it’s not always possible for everyone to attend in person.
