Bethany celebrating 125 years of service

Bethany is a Continuum Care Model for Senior Living. They will be celebrating 125 years of service. Bethany started out as a Children’s orphanage and in 1895 and moved to Waupaca in 1899. Since then Bethany has occupied the banks of the Crystal River and Shadow Lake. They began serving the elderly population in 1953. Bethany has grown from an 18 bed skilled nursing facility to a 100 bed skilled nursing facility, a 40 bed CBRF, 40 apartment RCAC and 41 independent duplexes. Now they provide outreach services to Waupaca and the surrounding communities.  Bethany will be celebrating their 125 years on Saturday, July 22nd from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be food trucks, vendors and kids games all day. They will also have raffle prizes, silent auction and 50/50 raffles. Bethany will also be sponsoring a Community Bingo with times of 10:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. Check out their Facebook page for further details.
