The Wild Rose School Board approved a number of personnel appointments during a June 22 meeting.
Approved as a middle school math/science teacher was Bruce Sternweis; as a middle/high school vocal music intern was Bailey Boutin; Kayla Clapper as the varsity volleyball coach; Kyle Clapper as the varsity baseball coach; and Greg Ida and Chad Deschler as volunteer football coaches.
The board went on to approve revisions to the 2022-2023 budget, then approved the transfer of 2022-2023 unassigned fund balance to committed fund balance for balancing the 2023-2024 expenditure budgets.
An extended leave of absence request from Brenda Heaney to cover the end of the past school year was granted by the board.
A returned survey regarding preference to the 2024 high school graduation date of Saturday, May 25 at 1 p.m. was approved.
The board approved a WIAA senior high membership application for participation in athletics.
The next board meeting will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 20. The annual meeting will take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 7 in the auditorium, with a board meeting to immediately follow.
