Brianna Pfadenhauer named national student winner

On June 1st, minutes before the end of the last school day for students, a first place medal and letter were awarded to Brianna Pfadenhauer. She is a national student winner after taking the National Language Arts League Grade 9 Contest test. She received a score of 41 out of 50 possible points. Congratulations to Brianna on her amazing accomplishment. Each year the high school English department administers the National Language Arts League (NLAL) Test, which is a timed 35-minute multiple choice test that asks questions on vocabulary, spelling, reading comprehension, and grammar. School districts across the nation offer this test to their students in between April and May.
