RAYMOND L. COLBORN

Raymond L. Colborn, age 88, of Wautoma passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at Heartland House in Wautoma. He was born June 25, 1934 in Crandon the son of George William and Veronica Rose (Bera) Colborn. He married the former Ellen Lou Lagon on August 6, 1958 in Waukesha. She preceded him in death on March 21, 2023. Raymond served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1954 until 1957. He and his wife resided at rural Dousman for a number of years before moving to Helenville. He was employed as a Master Machinist at the former Wisconsin Centrifugal for 28 years from 1961 until 1989. He and his wife moved to Wautoma in 1987 where they attended Hope Lutheran Church. Raymond enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by two children, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Colborn, Manitowoc and Donna (Steven) Georgeson, Milton; four grandchildren, Samantha (Peter), Brandy, Amanda, Jeremiah, along with three step grandchildren; two great grandchildren, Axel and Archer. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 19 at 1 p.m. at at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma with Rev. Paul Michael Thomas of Hope Lutheran Church officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at Hope Lutheran Cemetery.
