JAMES C. LAPINSKE

James C. LaPinske, age 86 of rural Neshkoro, passed away Thursday evening, May 25, 2023 at the Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. He was born June 9, 1936 in Milwaukee, a son if Clarence and Genevieve (Daehn) LaPinske. He was educated at Immaculate Conception Grade School in Milwaukee, and was a graduate of Don Bosco High School of Milwaukee, Class of 1954. James joined the United States Postal Service in 1956. He retired following 35 years of Postal Service as Postmaster of Mequon Thiensville. He was a Gold Card Member of the National Association of Letter Carriers. James married the love of his life, Judith Saunders May 17, 1958. She preceded James in death March 24, 2015 following 57 years of marriage. James is a member of the Neshkoro Lions Club, the Neshkoro Fishing Club, and St. James Catholic Church in Neshkoro. Survivors include 2 sons, Jeffrey and Jerold (Jill) LaPinske; grandchildren, Andrea, Stacie, Jesse, James R., Charles, Elizabeth, Alyssa, and Cassandra; and great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia (Russell) Sepanski; a sister-in-law, Janet LaPinske; other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Saunders LaPinske, a son, Jonathan, his parents, Clarence and Genevieve Daehn LaPinske, and his brothers, Thomas and Michael LaPinske. A Private Service will be held. There will be No Visitation. If relatives and friends desire, Memorials will be appreciated in Jim’s Memory for the Wisconsin Lions Camp, C /O Neshkoro Lions Club, P.
