Wautoma Solar Project update - May 2023

Subhead
Alliant Energy received approval from the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSCW) to adjust the layout of the Wautoma Solar Project and place additional panels on the Wautoma Airport property. Alliant Energy had submitted this adjustment request to the PSCW based on feedback from the community to shift panels away from residential areas and use additional land from the city that lines the airport. In the coming days and weeks, crews are expect to begin work on this adjusted airport parcel with pile driving, tracker installation and panel placement. Apart from the adjusted airport parcel, Alliant Energy has completed 100% of pile and approximately 90% of the tracker installation. To date, over 50% of the solar panels have been installed on site. Crews have poured the foundation for the project substation as well. Alliant Energy expects to complete the Wautoma Solar Project later this year.
