Wautoma/Wild Rose girls’ soccer score 2-0 win

The Wautoma/Wild Rose girls’ soccer team had a busy week with two conference and one non-conference game. On April 18 the Wautoma/Wild Rose played Arcadia at Parkside School. There were several opportunities to take shots on goal by Sabrina Adair, Laura Babcock, Addie DeMars and Montana Groskreutz. The game was exciting to walk lots of great movement by both teams. Addie DeMars got her first goal at the end of the first half. Shortly into the second half Montana Groskreutz got her first goal. Abbi Zindars playing in the goal with nine saves. Wautoma/Wild Rose was able to hold Arcadia from scoring to give the team a conference win. On April 20, the team travelled to Hustiford with a rainy and windy game. The girls struggled to get the ball on their offense side. Playing mostly on defense, Hustiford was able to take the win. The Wautoma/Wild Rose girls’ soccer team finished their week on April 22 when travelling to Wisconsin Rapids to play a conference game against Assumption. The game started strong after playing the day before. The girls held off the strong offense, but they were able to goal. Wautoma/Wild Rose struggled to keep them out of the defensive end. Assumption came away with the win.
