After receiving a bye for the first round of regionals, the Westfield Lady Pioneers were ready for action for the Feb. 24 regional semi-finals. The Lady Pioneers took a 65-23 regional victory over the Manawa Lady Wolves.
Carly Drew topped the scoreboard with 29 points, including three 3-pointers and 2 free throws. Drew also recorded 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 6 steals. Haddie Showen and Nadia Hoffa each put 9 points on the board, with Showen shooting one 3-pointer and 2 free throws and Hoffa making one 3-pointer. N. Breanne Czaplewski and Brandi Lentz scored 5 points, with each having one 3-pointer. Sidney Hoffa and Kylie Barton scored 3 points each, followed by Mya Reetz with 2.
