Resident expresses appreciation for friends and neighbors after storm
To the Editor"
Once again misfortune to some of us has shown how friendly and caring our neighbors and friends are.
As many know, my wife “Barnie” and I were severely affected by the damage to our home when we had the storm on June 14.
We would like to express our appreciation to all the good neighbors and friends who helped us “dig out” and try to get back to normal.
We would especially like to acknowledge Vern Wagner for his immediate attention to our damaged septic system – his help enabled grandkids and us to keep living in our home.
We will forever be indebted to Dave Delaney of Next Generation Logging from Montello for his crew and machinery for helping us to rid our property of the tons of debris caused by the storm.
People who care enough to help their neighbors in their time of need are a great reason for living in Waushara County.
