The Plainfield Public Library is happy to announce that Tanya Johnson has joined their team as a new library assistant. Tanya started on Dec. 16th and is looking forward to getting to know the Plainfield patrons and providing them with excellent customer service.
The Plainfield Library is also happy to announce that they are expanding their business hours starting the first week of January. In addition to their current hours, they will also be open Thursdays from noon – 5pm. The library will be closed from December 22 through December 26 for Christmas, and will be closed Monday, January 2nd in observance of New Years. Their regular business hours will then be: Monday noon – 5pm, Tuesday 10am – 5pm, Wednesday 10am -6pm, Thursday noon – 5pm, Friday 10am – 5pm, Saturday 9am – noon, and closed Sundays.
They will also be moving their children’s Storytime from Fridays to Tuesdays at 2pm starting Tuesday, Jan. 3rd.
