Community-Wide Bell Ringing Day announced
Your response to this year’s Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign has been phenomenal. Both in donation of money (at the kettle sites) and the donation of time in ringing the bells by over 25 entities/groups in our area (over 400 hours).
Here is something NEW, added to our 29 day ringing season.
Friday, Dec. 23 (last day of bell ringing in Wautoma), we ask that a community-wide call go out for bell ringers to fill that day at Shopko Hometown, Copps, and StoneRidge Piggly Wiggly.
So if you have another hour left in you for bell ringing, or have not yet represented another group in ringing this season, you can volunteer to ring for this community-wide event.
We will start at 10 a.m. (at all three locations) and ring until we run out of volunteers. This could be one of the biggest days of the season.
Please call Roger Charette at 920-787- 4250 to fill an hour or more on this day. We will be working on an “hour worksheet”, if you do not get an answer, please leave call back information on the voicemail.
We are all volunteers here in Waushara County, and also 90 percent of the donations stay in this county. Have a Blessed Christmas.
