Dopp Agency State Farm are American Red Cross HEROES

Subhead

Recently, Dopp Agency State Farm, became the newest member of the Wautoma SUPER HEROES Team. Combined with the Wautoma Schools ‘Hats for Heroes’ event on March 4th, plus donations from private donors, businesses, and service clubs, the resounding support for the local Red Cross is amazing. As with the past 14 years, Heroes donations fund Local Disaster Relief and Service to the Armed Forces. Very recently, COVID Antibody Testing has again been added again.

The most prevalent local disasters are residential fires—winter being the worst time.  When the Red Cross is called in for support, trained volunteers provide immediate needs ranging from personal hygiene items, a place to stay, financial assistance, medications, quilts, and a shoulder to lean on.  The Red Cross also supports first responders with food and hydration.  The American Red Cross—90% volunteers—arrives with hearts filled with compassion and a plan to support families in a very emotional, difficult time.

At the Wisconsin Veterans Home (King), for years the Red Cross has sponsored bingo games and music concerts.  The BioMed portion of the Red Cross has vigilantly processed COVID-19 Antibodies at all its blood drives.

“Down the street, across the country, around the world…the Red Cross is there.sm” Special appreciation goes to Dopp Agency State Farm for their steadfast belief in the world’s greatest humanitarian organization.
