PATRICIA ANN WILLIAMS

Subhead

Patty was born in Waushara County, Wisconsin on April 19, 1942.  She was a very precocious child who graduated valedictorian of Tri-County High School’s class of 1960.  In 1966 she graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy as the first student there with a perfect 4.0 GPA. She worked her entire professional career as a pharmacist with the Mueller-Potter Drug Company in Oshkosh.

She is survived by her loving husband, Wendell of Oshkosh; Her eldest son, Rory, resides in Neenah and her youngest son, Thad, lives in Oshkosh. Her favorite granddaughter, Joby, lives in Smyrna, Tennessee.

Patty enjoyed designing and sewing doll clothes for Barbie, Cabbage Patch and American Girl dolls which she sold to many happy young ladies.  Some of her creations and a few of her dolls may be viewed at her friend Kay Wilde’s doll cottage in Winneconne.  Her hand knitted infant sweaters warmed many 1- and 2-year-olds. She enjoyed puzzles both crossword and jig saw.  The tougher the better.  She enjoyed her retirement years traveling to bird watch and spending time at her home in Apache Junction, Arizona.  Her later years were spent with her friends and the wonderful caregivers at Elijah’s Place in Oshkosh.

She will spend eternity next to her husband Wendell, when he decides to join her, at the Williams plot in the Plainfield Cemetery in Plainfield, Wisconsin, not too distant from her beloved grandparents, Milton and Della Schleicher, and her parents, Merle and Leone Detlor.

To honor Patricia’s wishes, private family services will be held.  Stahl Funeral Services of Wautoma assisted the family with arrangements, please visit, www.stahlfuneralhome.com to share your online condolences with Patricia’s family.
