On May 24 the Wautoma/Wild Rose girls soccer team traveled to Mauston for a windy game.
The game started out strong despite the wind at half time the score was 0-0. There were several shots taken by Dayana Rodriquez, Jaidyn Knueppel, Delaney Salm, and Shayla Lemke. A trip in the box gave Wautoma/ Wild Rose a penalty kick taken by Dayana Rodriquez with a goal being scored.
The team played hard and tough right to the end to win 1-0.
Hattie Bray played in the goal with nine saves.
