Chief Deputy Matthew L. Vande Kolk of the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office released the following information of an in-custody death.
At approximately 8:34 p.m. on Apr. 30 the Green Lake EMS was paged to the Green Lake County Correctional Facility for an in-custody 43 year old female with a medical concern. The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies also responded as assistance.
Life-saving measures were administered by the Corrections Officers and the EMS. Unfortunately, the individual was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Corrections, and the Green Lake County Coroner’s Office.
