Dr. Baeseman speaks to Wild Rose Lions Club

Dr. Zachary Baeseman, ThedaCare Physicians, Wild Rose. spoke at the Wild Rose Lions Club, monthly meeting held Sept. 8. Dr. Baeseman spoke on how COVID 19 is present in our county and communities. Dr. Baeseman talked about the medical community response to COVID 19 and how it is impacting the ThedaCare affiliates. He also spoke about prevention, best practices for safety and the potential consequences of not following the guidelines.

An open forum of questions followed. Many of the questions focused on masks, when and how to wear them and how to take care of them. Testing, how are the tests prioritized and what is the accuracy. What about quarantine how long and why, what activities are high risk and what can people can do to further safeguard their health. The Wild Rose Lions Club appreciated Dr. Baeseman and the ThedaCare Physicians Clinic for taking the time to educate them on the current status of COVID 19 and how it has and will continue to impact our daily lives and the decisions we make regarding our club as we go forward.

This was an excellent presentation and the Wild Rose Lions would encourage other service groups and clubs to take advantage of this opportunity.
