Joseph Klenke from Shelmet Precision Casting Company, Wild Rose, was invited to share his expertise with The Manufactures Round Table on July 26.

Wisconsin Aerospace Partners met at the EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh to advance the Wisconsin Aerospace Industry. The event was hosted by Wisconsin’s Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, (ASA) Aerospace States Association National Chairperson. It also included special guest, Ian Steff, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Manufacturing,  US Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration from Washington DC. The LT Governor from New Mexico was also present.

Topics of discussion included Cyber Security, filling the skills and talent gap, the aging work force, and how to advocate for investment in Wisconsin’s Aerospace industry. This was all key to making Wisconsin-based aerospace companies more competitive and more capable of capturing a larger market share.
