Waushara County accident reports

7/14/18: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 8:46 am on CTH B northbound. Marsha Lynn Rosin, 33, Wautoma, was traveling northbound on Cty Rd B. Frances S. Nelson, 74, Sausalito, CA, was on Cottonville Ave and stopped at posted Stop sign on west side of intersection. Nelson then proceeded through intersection, striking Rosin on passenger side, front, and middle. Rosin attempted to swerve and miss the collision. Rosin then lost control of vehicle, due to vehicle damage, and proceeded off roadway into a ditch. Rosin struck two fence poles and fence wire. Nelson, after striking Rosin, lost control of vehicle and spun out into the northeast ditch. Nelson admitted to not checking intersection twice after she stopped, stating the brush and shrubbery on the southwest corner of the intersection made it difficult to see. Rosin complained of soreness in her left hip, neck, left arm, nose, and chest. Nelson had bruising on her arms, but stated she was fine. Citations were issued for failure to yield to Nelson. 7/17/18: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 2 pm at the parking lot on STH 21 eastbound lot W7709, Town of Dakota. Taylor Bradley Arvid Holmes, 23, Wautoma, was backing from the parking stall in the parking lot when he backed into the vehicle owned by Larry K. Sherzan, Wautoma. Sherzan was legally parked in the parking lot. Holmes fled from the scene according to a witness. The City of Wautoma police located Holmes at his residence and had him return to the scene. Holmes stated he was alone in the vehicle at the time of the crash, does not have a driver’s license, and left the scene. 7/18/18: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 5:15 am on 36th Rd, Town of Aurora. Steven Phillip Besore, 28, Berlin, was traveling southbound on 36th Rd. Besore stated that he fell asleep at the wheel and traveled over the center line, striking the mailbox at N252 36th Rd. Besore stated he did not stop as he did not see anyone around. The mailbox belonging to N252 36th Rd was heavily damaged. Besore was cited for failure to report accident, operating left of center, and failure to transfer title. 7/20/18: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 4:38 pm on STH 21 eastbound, Town of Aurora. Kathleen Faye Johnson, 67, Berlin, was stopped in the eastbound lane of State Road 21, waiting to turn into the entrance to the 4 Corners Restaurant. Bethany Ann Francisco, 18, Wautoma, was traveling east behind Johnson and struck the vehicle in the rear. Johnson stated she had her blinker on, signaling she was turning left; however, Francisco stated that Johnson did not have their blinker on. Francisco said she saw Johnson slowing down and thought they were slowing down for the stop sign at State Road 21 and State Road 49. 7/20/18: A two-vehicle ac-cident occurred at 4:40 pm on CTH F eastbound, Town of Marion. David Ralph-Harris, 78, Neshkoro, was traveling eastbound on CTH F with no traffic control. Stephanie Elizabeth Colon, 28, Redgranite, had been traveling southbound on CTH Z and stopped at the stop sign where CTH Z intersects with CTH F. Colon did not see Harris and proceeded straight from her stop sign, where she proceeded to crash into the side of Harris.
