Waushara County felonies reported July 11-16

Auston Michael Rock, Kan-kakee, IL, was in court on July 11 on charges of six counts of Burglary-Building or Dwelling with a PTAC, as a Party to a Crime for a Initial appearance.  Defendant is not eligible for SPD services and is requesting court appointed counsel. DE must make $250 payment by no later than July 27, 2018 then $100 monthly payments starting Sept. 1, 2018. Motion by the defendant for modification of bond. The Court declines any modification of the bond. An Adjourned initial appearance was scheduled for Aug. 1. Tommy Joe Johnson, Plain-field, was in court on July 12 on charges of 3rd Degree Sexual Assault as a Repeater for a Final pre-trial. Both counsel request additional PTC to be scheduled based on new charges. Court renders ruling the pending motions-trial will be scheduled and trial management will be addressed today-court will set a schedule for consideration for additional charges that has been indicated to be filed. Court grants each parties respective MIL’s-sequestration will begin at opening statement, State is allowed a court officer. Court requests counsel to assist with witnesses and the sequestration order. Court will provide jury instructions at the conclusion of evidence except for 50-cautionary instructions will be discussed with counsel prior to trial. All witnesses are to be identified with brief substance of offered testimony by Sept. 1, 2018. Court questions State regarding new complaint to be filed by Sept. 1, 2018. The Final pre-trail was scheduled for Sept. 18. Garrett A. Sparkman, Wautoma, was in court on July 12 on charges of six counts of Manufacture/Deliver Cocaine (>1-5g), two counts of Manuf/Deliver Cocaine (>5-15g), and one count of Possession of Methamphetamine for a Status conference. An additional Status conference was scheduled for Aug. 7. Derek D. Brock, Stevens Point, was in court on July 12 on charges of Bail Jumping-Felony for a Hearing. An Initial appearance was scheduled for July 20. Norpaul Yang, Green Bay, was in court on July 12 on charges of Injury by Use/Vehicle-Control Substance and 2nd-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety for a Status conference. A Plea hearing was scheduled for Aug. 10.
