"Reading Rocks" at Waushara County libraries

“Reading Rocks”  at Waushara County libraries Public libraries throughout Waushara County are offering 2018 summer reading programs which provide a variety of free educational and enrichment activities.  Designed to motivate children to read, assist children in maintaining their reading skills during summer vacation, provide experiences that will develop a sense of discovery and allow children to work cooperatively, the 2018 theme is “Libraries Rock!”  Join us for summer fun at one or more of the following libraries: Coloma:  1 p.m. on Thursdays, June 14-August 2; 1 p.m. Thursday “Game Day”       programs, August 9-30 Pine River:  10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays, June 13-August 8 Poy Sippi:  7 p.m., Monday, June 11, “Kick Off” with performer; 10:30 a.m. on Mondays June 18-July 16; 7 p.m. Monday, July 23, “Celebration” with performer Plainfield:  1 p.m. Friday, June 1, “Reading Challenge” begins; 1 p.m. Friday, June 29, STEAM activity; 1 p.m. Tuesday Activities for Kids, July 10, 24, 31; 1 p.m. Tuesday Activity for Teens, July 17; 10 a.m. Wednesday Entertainers, July 11, 18, 25 Redgranite:  Monday, June 4 “Reading Challenge” begins; 1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, June 27-August 1; No program on July 4 Wautoma:  1 p.m. on Thursdays, June 14-26; no program on July 5 Wild Rose:  3 p.m. “Tech Tuesdays” and 3 p.m. “Thursday Entertainers”, June 14-August 9 Please check individual library websites for more detailed information regarding program offerings.
