Former resident questions fees for local American Legion Post

To the Editor: As a past resident of Wautoma, I still read the e-edition of the Waushara Argus weekly, to keep up with what is happening in my adoptive hometown, as I lived for over 20 years, was involved in the city and county government, community blood drives and the Salvation Army, as well as the Wolman-Minskey American Legion Post 317. I noticed in the April 12 edition of the Argus a paragraph of the Wautoma City Council meeting about the use of the Waushara County World War II Memorial Building. The paragraph stated that the American Legion and Auxiliary were requesting more storage space, and no fees for their meetings held at the World War II Building.
