Almond-Bancroft High School to present ‘Emma! A Pop Musical’ this weekend

Almond-Bancroft High School will be presenting “Emma! A Pop Musical!” on Saturday, April 7, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 8, at 2 p.m. at the Almond-Bancroft Auditorium, 1336 Elm St. in Almond.

Based on Jane Austen’s classic novel, this sparkling new musical features the hit songs of legendary female musicians from The Supremes’ “You Can’t Hurry Love” and Pat Benatar’s “Heartbreaker,” to Katy Perry’s “Roar.”

The cast includes: Emma Woodhouse (Kayla Rajkowski), Harriet Smith (Annie Weiss), Jeff Knightley (Mickie Wiza), Frankie Churchill (Aidan Whitman), Jane Fairfax, (Brianna Schafer), Philip Elton (Emmett Stanislawski), Martin (Devon Miner), Ashley (Bryn Turzinski), Miss Bates (Cami Newby), Mr. Weston (Matt Selenski), Miss Taylor (Emaleah Matke), Welcoming Committee (Briana Borski, Angela Rogers and Chloe Lehman) and Ensemble: Mackenzie Baird, Chloee Dernbach, Ethan Heinz, Monica Herrera, Megan Manske, Connor Newby, Edward Pena, Isaiah Spohn, Garrett Stanislawski, Montana Thompson, Abigail Vasquez, Aurelia Vega and Breeley Warzynski.
