Wautoma Masonic Union sponsors Father’s Day picnic

Subhead

Wautoma’s Bird Creek Park usually comes alive on Father’s Day with the sights and sounds of a car show sponsored by the Wautoma Masonic Union.  With the lingering pandemic earlier this spring, planning for the usual car show was not possible.  Instead, a picnic was organized to show appreciation to faithful car show sponsors.

A nice display of beautifully restored vintage vehicles provided a mini-car show feel.  Hobo’s Music Service played everyone’s favorite 50s and 60s songs as guests enjoyed a grilled picnic-style lunch.  Names were drawn for several door prizes.  A 50/50 cash raffle raised $200 to be donated to the Veteran’s Fund of Waushara County.

Be sure to mark your calendar to be at Bird Creek Park for the annual Father’s Day Car Show sponsored by the Wautoma Masonic Union.  The date for next year’s show is Sunday, June 19, 2022.

If you want to learn more about any of Wautoma’s Masonic organizations, just ask any member.  They will share much of the tradition, fellowship and community service that defines these long-standing fraternal organizations.
