Waushara Holiday Project seeks donations

Subhead

Organizers of the Waushara Holiday Project are asking community members to help spread cheer in a year filled with challenges. The group is currently accepting new, unwrapped toys to be gifted to children whose families may be struggling to make these holiday purchases on their own. Families of nearly 350 children have already signed up for the project. The deadline for applications is Nov. 30.

Toys and gifts for children ages 0-18 are being accepted. Donations are requested for delivery by Nov. 30, so family gifts can be assembled. Toys for Tots locations include: the Waushara Argus, Thrivent Financial, Cottage Motors, Hometown Bank, Wausau Homes, Ellickson Agency, Lifequest, Cell Plus, Ace Hardware and the Waushara County Courthouse.
