Upcoming WRAP conference to be hosted Sept. 18 - 20

Come celebrate WRAP’s 80th anniversary with three days of art and inspiration at the 2020 Annual State Day Exhibition and Conference, Sept. 18-20. You won’t want to miss this fully online conference where you can connect, share, and create. See the State Exhibition online on the WRAP website.

The weekend includes eight sessions and the keynote speaker. Angela Johnson will be teaching creative art journaling; Four experts will be giving a curatorial talk about Wisconsin art exhibits and programs; Frank Juaurez will teach the basics of self-promotion and use of social media in his professional practice talk; Madison Hagar will demonstrate sculptural techniques for 2D and 3D work,; Helen Klebesadel will demonstrate positive and negative image development in painting, drawing and mixed media,  Sarah Thompson will demonstrate form, composition and layout in a 2”x4” assemblage; Nancy McKinnon will demonstrate a spontaneous acrylic pour; and Angela Johnson teach the technique of making foldable art boxes.

Angela Ann Hoffman, the keynote speaker, will intertwine a demonstration of raised Iroquois beadwork with storytelling.
