The oldest picnic in Wisconsin has gone online. Since they can’t have all of their activities in person, St. John’s Catholic Church is coming to you.
St. John’s Catholic Church in Princeton, has added an online auction for their 115th annual picnic to go along with their famous chicken dinner (carryout this year) and Big Raffle with $4,500 in prizes.
Bidding is done all online starting at noon on Aug. 8, and ending at 2 p.m. on Picnic Sunday, Aug. 16. Links for their events can be accessed at https://www.stjohnprince.org where you can register for the auction, view the items, read a full description and then start bidding on a golf cart, four person 18 hole golf package, pellet grill, or maybe you need a complete picnic package of table, Weber grill, and $50 of groceries. Do you want to sit back and relax? Let them supply two full cords of firewood for you or enjoy a get-away weekend in Milwaukee or a boat excursion on Green Lake with family and friends.
Winning bids will be announced live on St John the Baptist Catholic School, Princeton Facebook page after the raffle drawing at 2:15 p.m.
