Social-distanced Polar Plunge raises money for Special Olympics

Winter warriors hit the great outdoors at Nordic Mountain on Feb. 28 for the 2021 Socially Distanced Polar Plunge. Participants could choose to participate from home with a “Do-It-Yourself” plunge or the socially distanced option hosted at Nordic Mountain. Participants only needed to fundraise $75 to participate in tubing or cardboard box races at the hill. This event was in place of the usual dive in the water to accommodate for social distancing protocols. The money raised will go towards the Special Olympics.
