Peace Lutheran invites youth to join Pioneers

Subhead

Your friends at Peace Lutheran Church, 335 West Prairie Street, Wautoma, invite the youth of the community to join the Lutheran Boy and Girl Pioneers program at the church.

Pioneers teaches life and leadership skills, all while encouraging service to family, church, and community, strengthening the faith of youth, and building friendships with other Christians.

The Lutheran Boy & Girl Pioneers are international organizations with groups at churches all over the USA and Canada. Kids who join Pioneers not only are joining the local group, but become part of a district and national organization and are able to participate in activities such as pine car derbies and summer camps.

At Peace, the Pioneers meet once a month on the last Sunday at 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Lunch is provided and it doesn’t cost anything to join. Kids ages kindergarten through high school are invited to join them for their first meeting on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 11:30 a.m.

To keep families safe and following state and local protocol, face masks are required. If you don’t have one, there are masks available at church. The church also will not be sharing supplies and will be encouraging good hygiene.

Pre-registration is not required, but appreciated. Please call Christine at 920-787-3856 for more information or to pre-register.

Peace is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (www.wels.net).
