Oshkosh Area Community Foundation awards Wautoma students $13,500 in scholarships

The Oshkosh Area Community Foundation has awarded a total of $13,500 in scholarships to six Wautoma High School graduates.

 

Students received scholarships on May 20 during a virtual ceremony. The two scholarships available to Wautoma high school students through the Foundation are the Rose S. Wendt Scholarship and the Little Pine Creek Farm Scholarship.

The Rose S. Wendt Scholarship is available to graduating seniors from Wautoma high school who have financial need, a GPA of 3.0 or greater, and are involved in extra-curricular activities in high school and post-high school. This scholarship is awarded during the student’s sophomore year of college and is renewable for an additional two years.

The Little Pine Creek Farm Scholarship is available to graduating seniors from Wautoma high school who are pursuing a degree in Engineering. This scholarship is awarded during the student’s junior and senior years of college.

Connor Armstrong, $2,500.

Giselle Cervantes Palacio, $2,500.

Evan Gruszka, $2,500.

Haley Schmidt, $2,500.

Sarenna Sueoka, $2,500.

The recipient of the Little Pine Creek Farm Scholarship is:

Leo Weiss, $1,000.
