Kiwanis support blanket making for children

Subhead

Wautoma Kiwanis Club donated money to Lenore Williams to assist her in making blankets for the sheriff’s department to hand out to children when they are involved in a call. When a child is involved in a stressful situation it is reassuring to them to receive a blanket from a responding sheriff’s deputy. Lenore had 17 blankets with her at the Wautoma Kiwanis Club morning meeting on Aug. 27, at Bird Creek Park where she presented them to Waushara County Sheriff Wally Zuehlke.
