Wild Rose School Board discusses 2020-21 salaries

The Wild Rose School Board considered salaries for the 2020-21 school year during a Sept. 24 meeting.

District Administrator, Craig Hayes presented the proposed salaries, with the Wild Rose Educational Association (teachers) salaries being approved as presented. Salaries for the support staff on salary schedules, other support staff, and administration were discussed, but certain aspects of them are to be considered before making definite decisions for the current school year.

Start College Now applications were approved by the Board for Olivia Eagan and Faith Kindschuh for classes to be taken through Fox Valley Technical College.

The Board approved a few parent transportation contracts.

The second readings of revisions made to Board Policies Section 5: Certified Personnel 5.24 and Section 6: Support Personnel, 6.06, of the Title IX Policy were approved.

A notice of retirement from middle school language arts teacher, Debbie Miller, was accepted, going into effect after the 2020-21 school year.

The updated enrollment was looked at, with numbers being fairly steady, buy will be finalized at an October meeting.

During the district administrators report it was made known that bus driver, Katie Heuer, announced her immediate retirement, and that Scott Luce was hired to replace the full-time position, leaving his subbing position open.

The next Board meetings will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, and Oct. 22.
