Wild Rose Library to host tiny art show

Subhead

Tiny art is sweeping the country.  On Saturday, Apr. 23 at 10 a.m. the Patterson Memorial Library in Wild Rose is hosting a Tiny Art show workshop.  “Come by and pick up your tiny canvas, some paint and brushes to create your own tiny masterpiece,” said Kent Barnard, Library Director, adding “Your art can be a painting, drawing or a mixed media art piece, as long as it stays smaller than 6 X 6 inches.”

“I’ve watched as other libraries across the country have hosted these and the art is amazing.  All ages participate and the pieces are interesting and beautiful.” Barnard reported, continuing, “I know there are a lot of talented artists in our area, so I’m really looking forward to a fantastic show throughout the month of May.”

The art will be displayed in the display case in the library foyer, and all art will be returned after the show.  Pick up your art kit and begin work on Saturday, Apr. 23.  “We will have kits available until May 7, as we’d like to have the Show begin at the end of April.  This event is made possible by the Friends of the Library, who is sponsoring this event.
