Leon Saxeville Library introduces certified garden and plans Sept. events

Subhead

The Leon Saxeville Library has a beautiful native garden out front and has recently become certified and registered by Monarch Watch as an Official Monarch Waystation,

The new plaque has been installed and reminds visitors how important it is to include milkweed and nectar sources for our friend the Monarch.

Just past the native garden is the new Pine River Beautification Park Project which will be the location of a fundraiser on Friday, Sept. 17 and Saturday, Sept. 18.

The family of much loved teacher from Wild Rose School District and gifted painter Margaret Goodwin, has donated dozens of her paintings and Folk Art projects to beautify your home, or will make lovely gifts.

Please support the Library during this combination event of book and craft sale Friday, Sept. 17 from 2 – 6 p.m. and Saturday Sept. 18, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

As an extra bonus, and as seeing the library’s last Brat Fry was such a huge success, Brats will again be sold from 11 a.m. until out on Saturday, Sept. 18.

The library would also like to invite Preschoolers to their Story Time beginning Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 10:30 a.m. The library is so happy to start this again and invite their youngest friends back for fun with books.

Please call the library to sign-up at 920-987-5110.  More information is available at pineriverlibrary.org or facebook.com/pineriverlibraryWI
