Leon Saxeville Library announces Summer Reading Program

The Summer Program runs from June 15 through July 27, every Wednesday at 1 p.m.

On June 22 at 1 p.m. there will be Sand and Water Craft Projects.

On June 29 the Kids will be Citizen Scientists—monitoring the Stream Quality of the Pine River.

July includes the Pine River Rainbows 4H Club bringing Live Animals for all to enjoy and learn about on July 6.  Heidi Hensel-Buntrock from the UW Extension will do Creative Sea and Salt Art on July 13.

Learn about Mississippi River Junior Rangers on July 20 and on July 27 there will be a picnic, games and reading rewards.

Besides weekly programs the kids are encouraged to keep reading all summer by completing a reading log of minutes read each week, which becomes their entry into the drawing for great prizes at the picnic.

On Thursday July 7, there will be a Special STEAM Program at 1 p.m. Building Bridges, Towers and a Paper Airplane, also by the UW Extension.  Don’t miss the Fun.
