Wild Rose Schools, Kiwanis and citizens support HEROES

Celebrating the 100th day of school, the Wild Rose students, parents and staff, in addition to the Wild Rose Kiwanis Club, Jerry and Ruth Apps, Jon and Jane Wilcox, and the Henschel family, joined together becoming Super HEROES for their local American Red Cross.

On Feb. 4, the children and staff sported Super HEROES costumes raising funds for local disaster relief.

“Heroes are in our midst every single day in every single community. We adore the small-town ardor and compassion, which we continually witness,” said Red Cross volunteer Vicki Jenks. “Not only that, community teamwork is powerful and fun.”
