Thrivent Action Team adopts a bedroom at Destiny Point

Cindy Johnson, Plainfield, and Rita Robinson, Hancock, organized a fundraiser to help Destiny Point Women’s Restoration Center with furnishing bedrooms at their newly remodeled home in Blenker on Oct. 4. Funds were raised to furnish one complete bedroom, and donations are still needed for 14 twin sized mattresses, appliances, finishing the fire and sprinkler system, as well as many other items that need to be completed before residents are able to move in. Destiny Point provides a safe and healthy environment designed to address the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of the students while also teaching women to make healthier life-style choices.
