In a statement from Miron Construction, School District Of Wild Rose, Village of Wild Rose Fire Department, and Village of Wild Rose Police Department from the Nov. 30 fire at Wild Rose Middle/High School they stated: On Nov. 30 at approximately 2:12 p.m., the Wild Rose Fire Department was dispatched to a roof-top fire on the active construction site at Wild Rose Middle/High School. The fire was extinguished, and students and staff were evacuated. No students or staff were injured in the incident and returned to school as scheduled.
Two employees of a subcontractor have been medically treated—one was flight-lifted and one is being treated locally and released. The origin of the fire is unknown at this time.
