Public meeting scheduled to discuss WIS 21 access

WisDOT studying access in Adams, Waushara Counties

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss an access management study of WIS 21 between the Adams/Juneau County line and 4th Avenue. This section of WIS 21 is located in the towns of Strongs Prairie, Preston, Richfield, and Coloma, and the Village of Coloma.

The meeting is scheduled to take place from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, May 23, at the Strongs Prairie Town Hall, 1588 State Hwy. 21, Arkdale. A brief presentation is scheduled to begin at 5:15 p.m. After the presentation, the meeting will follow an open house format.

The objective of the meeting is to present information regarding the study, discuss the proposed study schedule, and obtain public input. The completed access management plan will preserve the long-term safety and efficient operations of WIS 21, while providing adequate access to adjacent properties.

There are no construction projects associated with this effort.
