One fatality reported after two-vehicle crash in Plainfield

On Monday, March 19, at about 1:19 p.m. the Waushara County 911 Communications Center received a 911 call of a two-vehicle crash on State Road 73 and 5th Avenue in the Town of Plainfield. Responding units found a Dodge pickup and Buick had collided in the intersection with the female driver in the Dodge pickup reporting minor injuries while the two people in the Buick were transported by Waushara County EMS to the ThedaCare Hospital-Wild Rose, according to a release from Waushara County Sheriff Jeff Nett. The next day the male driver of the Buick, Robert Wolff of Neshkoro, passed away from his injuries. The crash is still under investigation by the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Wisconsin State Patrol. In addition to the agencies mentioned above the Plainfield Fire Department also responded.
